DIY Fabric Corsage Tutorial

I’m back with another tutorial… this is the last thing I made with fabric flowers for my sister-in-law’s wedding last summer- the corsages for the moms and grandmothers.

Here are the ones I made for the wedding:

The two right ones pinned on and the one on the right tied onto my mother-in-law’s wrist with a ribbon. If you’d like to make one for yourself, here’s how to do it!

What you’ll need:

-Assorted fabrics in your wedding colors

-Felt for backing and leaves

-Ribbon

-Scissors, needle and thread, hot glue gun

Step 1: Choose 3 fabrics to make into small rolled rosettes:

Step 2: Then cut out a circle to turn into a yo-yo flower. (My circle started at 5 inches in diameter for this one but the wedding ones were a little smaller)

Step 3: Then you’ll want to make a ruffled flower like we did in Step 3 of the fabric bouquets.

Step 4: Now, lay out your corsage into the arrangement you’d like:

Add leaves out of felt if you want to:

Step 5: Then, glue all of the pieces down onto background felt, cut the excess away, and add ribbons if you want them.

And as usual, show me pictures if you make one- I’d love to see them!

Happy creating-

Elise
